Rolle is a municipality in the Canton of Vaud in Switzerland. It was the seat of the district of Rolle until 2006, when it became part of the district of Nyon. It is located on the northwestern shore of Lake Geneva between Nyon and Lausanne. Rooms are counted differently in Canton of Geneva from the rest of Switzerland. In Canton of Geneva the kitchen counts as a room whereas in the rest of Switzerland it does not. This means that a 2.5-rooms apartment in Zurich would be advertised as a 3.5-rooms apartment in Geneva.

To make apartments and houses comparable and statistics consistent across Switzerland ImmoMapper corrects for this by counting a 3.5-rooms apartment in Geneva in the "2-2.5" rooms category and similarly for all homes in Canton of Geneva.
